Auden Tate is a quiet girl entering her freshman year of college. Her plan is to focus on herself, school, and making new friends. After her past relationship traumatized her, she has no interest in dating and makes that clear to everyone. However, when she meets Sophmore Linc Stephens-Black, she wonders if never dating again is possible. Lincoln Stephens-Black (Linc) is living life to its fullest. He is the son of the dean, he sleeps with whom he wants when he wants, and he has the greatest best friend anyone could ask for, however, when he meets Auden Tate, he is captivated by her. His interest in her does not go unnoticed and the two begin to see each other casually.
