Description
Action and adventure in the alleys, haunts, and backwoods of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Fort Bragg, and Camp Mackall - where Green Berets are Drowning Creek always gives up her Leon, a Green Beret who's been everywhere, done everything twice and has the attitude to prove it, and a stunning brunette stripper with a near genius IQ, go up against a Columbian ex-Communist guerrilla and his crew of Iranian terrorist henchmen intent on wiping out thousands. A mysterious device that is the key to billions of cartel dollars somehow drives the action. Mother nature drops a Carolina hurricane right into Leon's lap during his quest to recover the device. A climatic battle involving improvised mortars and explosives, drones, and disruptive hacking in weapons control systems degrades into a primitive one-on-one knockdown, drag out showdown in a cold, dark alley. Peter Crittenden earned his Green Beret in 1988 and saw service in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the former Yugoslavia. His adventures continue as a security consultant. Nowadays, Pete lives in Pennsylvania with his wife, an accomplished artist in her own right.
