Conflict of Interest

Lawyer Everett Stone is preparing to try the biggest case of his career against a ruthless defendant, Ross Tyndall. Profit is placed over patients at the long-term care facility Tyndall operates, and Harry Thomas paid the ultimate price for Tyndall's greed. Harry's daughter, Monica, has enlisted Everett to get justice but Tyndall will stop at nothing to protect his business and considerable assets. He attempts to thwart Everett's prosecution of the case at every turn. Everett could not be more confident in his ability to get justice for Harry, and in the knowledge that the verdict will be record-setting despite Tyndall's antics. But, everything is called into question when Everett begins a relationship with a mysterious younger man, Jake. Everett's hopes for a smooth trial fall into jeopardy immediately when Jake ends up on the jury in a stroke of bad luck for Everett. Jake's status as a juror now threatens to derail not just the case, but Everett's entire career if anyone were to find out about their relationship.
