Four brothers: Four adopted brothers come back home to avenge their mother's death at what appeared to be a random killing in a grocery store robbery. However, the boy's investigation of the death reveals more nefarious activities involving the one brother's business dealings with a notorious local gangster. Two local cops, who are trying to solve the case, may also not be what they seem.
The departed: In South Boston, the state police force are waging a war on Irish-American organized crime. Undercover cop Billy Costigan is assigned to infiltrate the mob syndicate, which is run by gangland chief Frank Costello. Billy quickly gains Costello's confidence. Afraid of being caught and exposed to the enemy, each must race to uncover the identity of the other man in time to save himself.

The two seize the opportunity to step up like the city's top cops, whom they idolize. But do these two guys have the right stuff?

Now he must go on the run to find who set him up to take the fall.
