Description

Things are going great for psychic and former ghost hunter, Barrett McDowell. He's set up shop as a ghost therapist in his native LA. Most of his work entails simple things, like telling loved ones the code to the safe deposit box at the bank, or Grandma giving her grandkids one last message of love before she passes into the light. That is, until Lauren Collins steps into his office. Lauren recently inherited a beach house in Laguna. It was the beloved family home of her dearest friend, Becca. Lauren wants Barrett's help to clear the ghosts she believes are haunting the place. Five years prior, her daughter and her husband were murdered by the husband's obsessed, stalker brother. Now Lauren can get no peace, because the place is filled with the unresolved trauma of the dead occupants. A love-triangle-gone-wrong is only one of the complex reasons the ghosts are stuck. There are poor decisions, secrets, and generational emotional hurt that have set this dysfunctional family on a disastrous course. When he realizes he's in over his head, Barrett enlists the help of his psychic friend, Casey, and his deceased best ghost friend, Austin, to talk to these troubled spirits and get this sordid situation sorted.
