Looking Through Mirrors
(eAudiobook)
Description
Found unconscious at the scene of a murder, a courageous woman suspects that her amnesia is hiding a dark truth about herself when her flashbacks begin to reveal what may be a sinister and violent past. Choosing to reject this, she battles to save the beautiful, new life she is creating. Book one in the trilogy. During an intense interrogation, Angela learned that she was found unconscious at the scene of a murder and was suspected as being somehow involved. Yet, she had no idea who she was or how she came to be in Paris, France. To make matters worse, the murderer was out there somewhere, likely waiting for her - unfinished business. This terrified her. Her psychiatrist and significant others who magically came into her life, all wanted her to accept that her amnesia would forever shroud her past and to start life over, fresh. "Like pruning a rose, the new growth will be even more beautiful," they argued convincingly in unison. She countered that it wasn't pieces of their lives being amputated and tossed into the compost bin. The reason for her resistance was because she saw someone in her flashbacks. Her eyes blazed through the darkness of amnesia - challenging, powerful, and unyielding. "If she is me, then who am I?" Angela thought. "Then why am I?"
