The Girl Who Lived and Loved
(eAudiobook)
THE GIRL WHO LIVED AND LOVED Owen tried to appease his sister Ava. He sat beside her and gently touched her shoulders. He was frustrated and sad too, struggling to put himself together. Only six years before then, their father Michael had sat on that same chair when Ava said she was skipping class because she did not do her homework. He let her get away with it that day. He said goodbye not knowing it was his last. The phone rang, Owen picked it up and realized it was a police officer to report that his father had an accident and died instantly. After Michael's death, Maria did her best for her children, but her life was never the same again. As a nurse, she worked hard to get her children everything. She became very ill and eventually died six years after her husband's death. Owen was 22 years old and Ava 18. Owen decided to go to California from New Orleans to find a better job and take care of his sister. He asked his girlfriend Mia, to please stay with her and promised to take care of them both. They became inseparable. It took Owen some time to get a job. When he did, he sent them mobile phones, clothes, shoes, jewelries and money. He never had a phone, but promised to get one, which he never did. Ava was an artist, she focused on her drawings until one day through Mia's intervention she found a lover called Harry from Texas and they could not have enough of each other. For some time now they have not heard from Owen. They could neither call nor write. Harry had to go back for a business appointment in Dallas, Texas where he was from. Few days later Ava was not feeling well so they both went to see the doctor. They were shocked when Ava was told she was pregnant. On getting home, got a letter that Owen is dead, and Harry never came back! What is going to happen to Ava and her pregnancy? What about Mia now? What is about to happen next is an emotionally electrifying story. Please, get your audio. Thank You!
