A seven part television biography examining the life of controversial physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer who led the Manhattan Project in 1942 and came to be known as "Father of the atomic bomb." Although he served as a government adviser on nuclear weapons, he eventually campaigned against further development of nuclear arms.
