Description

When Army veteran Marcus Mosley returns home from Afghanistan, his friends find that Marcus' wartime experiences have left him and dangerous. Marcus tries to return to his marriage, his old job, and his old life, but his boss recognizes the violence and mental illness boiling up inside of him, and finds a way to use them to his advantage. Smoketown revolves around an American soldier in the days leading up to his murder. Each chapter reveals a new facet of that soldier's life as he unravels, exposing another criminal or desperate element of his supposedly quiet Pennsylvania town.
