In the land of Ustrad, King Uthrel sent a mighty warrior to link the flame. That warrior was Herad, a noble knight, but the flame was too strong and he was consumed, reduced to ash. King Uthrel took the quest upon himself, and linked the flame, becoming a mighty Lord of Cinder. Now the time to link the flame has come again, but Uthrel shrinks from his duty having become the skeletal Willow King, ruling over a court of the dead. Rising from the ashes though is Herad, now hollowed, and he unites a band of unlikely allies to compel his Lord to link the flame, and bring life to the world once more. But the journey into the fallen kingdom of Ustrad is a grim and perilous one, and Herad and his allies will have to face the monsters that dwell From legendary Star Wars writer George Mann and horror artist Maan House, comes an all new entry in Titan's Dark Souls comics series based on the acclaimed video game.
