Pep Comic Issue 385 features the story " Archie and The Gang in Vacation Elation". Archie, Chuck, and Reggie are at Pop's celebrating the beginning of summer vacation. Is there anything that could get them to go back to school sooner? Other stories in this issue include "Marvelous Maureen Jumps Bail!", "Betty and Veronica in Doll House Blues", "Dilton Doiley in The Little Wheel", and more. Originally running from 1940 all the way into the '80s, PEP was the platform for Archie's first appearance in 1941 and introduced many of the Riverdale citizens that the world still follows over 80 years later.
