Ghosts of New England is a collection of true ghost stories, incursions from the World Beyond witnessed or reliably reported by those who were there when they happened. These accounts of true hauntings are the results of the work of one of the world’s leading investigators of the paranormal, Professor Hans Holzer, Ph.D. Found only in his books, these are the real ghost stories of New England. From the lonely plains of rural Maine to the busy countryside of Connecticut, from the old city of Boston to New Hampshire’s pristine precincts, there were and are ghosts—and people continue to experience hauntings by those who have not quite gone on to the next world. Ghosts are not figments of the imagination nor monsters from a Hollywood movie, says Professor Holzer: there, but for the Grace of God, goes one of us, being who happens to be caught up in the emotional turmoil originating at the time of passing over.
